Showcase at the big screen plaza

On October 15th, from 10am-4pm, The Big Screen Plaza in New York City, located on 29th Street between 6th and 7th Avenues, will host its first kidsfilmfest Family Day. They will be showing live action and animated films from the Brooklyn Film Festival's kidsfilmfest and animator, Annie Poon.

Annual film festival

The Brooklyn Film Festival organizes the kidsfilmfest, an annual event dedicated to kids.

The 7th kidsfilmfest was June 4&5, 2011

»
Saturday, June 4 at indieScreen in Williamsburg at 1pm. Tickets: 10$ adult, children 12 and under are free.

» Sunday, June 5 at the Long Island Children's Museum at 2pm. Tickets: Fee: $4 with museum admission ($3 LICM members), $8 Kidsfilmfest only.

kidsfilmfest: meet the filmmakers! 

During the annual film festival, the kidsfilmfest organizes a filmmakers workshop after the film programs. Kids learn how the films in our festival are made and meet the filmmaker.
